honestly, i was gloomy earlier today because many of my friends have their own
"excuses" not to attend the party.
although i have to respect their decision, or their parents' decision;
i was still pissed of because i expected us to bond together as one and enjoy
each other's company.
i guessed i spoke too soon. or expected too much. in the end, half of my barkadas
were not able to make it to the party.
their are many things that i expected at the party this year by the way:
first, i expect/want it to become more lively than last year's
second, i want to meet new friends, so that i can overcome my shyness more
third, to be able to bond with my friends, being with them (even doing nothing) can make me happy!
the party was star studded!
(literally) the walls have big,
shiny star decorations all over it
and the shiny REFROSH at the wall to welcome us.
one word came out of my mind...
WOW..
okay, i will skip the boring part where several bands played 3-4 songs each for us.
well, i am not really a fanatic when it comes to bands
especially when they play rock or metal music.
so in our case, i can safely say it was pretty boring for me
so the food was good. it actually reached my expectations
especially on the food part.
the buko pandan and the "gulay" was actually, exquisitely, tasty.
the "gulay" was actually pretty addicting!
there are two events actually in the party.
first is the fashion show, and the other one was speed dating.
i really enjoyed the fashion show! haha.
well, all of us actually have to participate in the fashion show.
by twos, sometimes by threes, others performed it by groups.
i was able to pair up with iriz.
we made a cute pose :P
the other event by the way, is the speed dating.
it is where we "date" for 20 seconds.
the girls have their permanent seats while us, the boys,
will move from one chair to another after 20 seconds.
although, the speed dating was enjoyable, we weren't able to finish it
due to time constraints.
that was, by the way, i expected and wanted the party to be.
to have no extra time rather than a party with ample time
that will leave you staring at blank places.
the party ended with Lucid having a dance number.
well, their number sure increased! the dance floor was dominated by Lucid members
and Lucid members alone!
even though i am shy enough to dance,
enjoyed myself watching them have their showdown.
i love the party!.
i love the way they had organized everything.
i love the way they design the ambiance.
i love the way everybody participated.
this night was one of the best, and one of the most memorable ones.
the night that everybody became friends.
the night when the word "kj" died even for just few hours.
we partied, we enjoyed. we became one.
the speed dating was really amusing for
several reasons.
but one of the reasons i can't seem to forget
is when some of the girls, primarily, freshmen
seem to have one line.
"Hey, you look good"
well........ haha! :P
